• Two men charged with murder after 33-year-old found shot dead behind wheel in Hyattsville (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A 33-year-old man was found fatally shot in his vehicle on Lewisdale Drive in the Hyattsville area earlier this month, and two men now face first- and second-degree murder charges. Prince George's County police say there's no known connection between the suspects and victim and are still seeking a motive, asking anyone with information to contact homicide detectives.

(thebanner.com) — An asylum case for a Haitian woman arrested in Odenton has been moved to the immigration court in Hyattsville, placing a key part of her fight against deportation in Prince George's County. Her detention under Trump-era policies is drawing legal challenges from advocates, who say aggressive ICE tactics are frightening many Haitian and other immigrant families across Maryland.
