• Jara MacDermott Accepts Sanction (usada.org) — A weightlifter from Kensington, Md., Jara MacDermott, has accepted a two-year competition ban after testing positive for several prohibited substances at a 2025 world championship event. USADA explains that she used the drugs under a doctor's direction but without a required Therapeutic Use Exemption, leading to disqualification of her results dating back to 2018 and forfeiture of medals and prizes.
