β’ Beloved Costume Shop Reopens In Montgomery Co. After Fire Kept Doors Closed (patch.com) β Gene's Costumes on Connecticut Avenue in Kensington has finally reopened nearly three years after an electrical fire, and neighbors can once again browse full costumes and accessories close to home. The shop is now welcoming customers weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended evening hours planned in the two weeks leading up to Halloween.
