8 People Displaced After Grill Fire Causes $125K Damage To Prince George's Co. Townhouse

Eight people have been displaced after a grill fire sparked $125K in damage to a Prince George's County townhouse.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Eight people were displaced after a townhouse fire damaged their home in Laurel Sunday afternoon. The fire broke out shortly after 5 p.m. at the home located in the 7200 block of Paperbark Terrace.

The Prince George's County Fire and EMS reported that a grill had caught on fire at the two-story home. First responders said they first found smoke near the roof and rear of the home.

No injuries were reported and damages were estimated at approximately $125,000.
