Laurel's Annual Festival, Parade Will Be May 7, Local Vendors And Entertainers Sought
The 40th Main Street Festival in Laurel will be May 7. Vendors, entertainers and parade participants are needed, so apply today.
LAUREL, MD — The 40th Main Street Festival in Laurel will be held May 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be entertainment, food, vendors, music and activities all day. The big parade will begin at 9 a.m.
Residents should note that Main Street will be closed to traffic between Route 1 South and 7th Street, so visitors can enjoy the parade and then stroll up and down Main Street to safely enjoy all the festivities.
More than 100 vendors have signed up so, but there’s room for many more, organizers said. Local bands and community groups who want to be in the parade also should apply now.
