Not blogging much because of a fractured elbow -- but wanted to share this story about the Cafe de Paris - now in Columbia but previously in Laurel and still a favorite for many.
Restaurant owner Erik de Rochard of the Café De Paris deserves a special shout out. Last week, he went all the way to Paw Paw, WV to help the kids at the local library celebrate France Day – one of several International Days Paw Paw librarian Jennifer DeLawder set up. We have a cabin nearby and use the library – and asked Erik if we could borrow some props to help her. He did much more – and came out himself, with crepe maker in hand to make them authentic crepes, and talk with them in his French accent about France. It was inspiring and fun. And he did it during restaurant week no less! For photos click here go to:
Thanks Erik, Jennifer and Ken for making this a special day for the kids.
