Love Life Cafe

Kick off summer with creativity, color, and community at the first-ever <a href="https://bit.ly/laurelkidssummer" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">LaurelKids Summer Series</a>.
Children will paint sunshine-themed rocks and mini canvases while exploring their creativity and creating colorful keepsakes to take home.
The workshop will be led by Laurel resident and local artist <a href="https://artistangelo.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Angie O'Neal</a>, who brings more than 50 years of artistic experience to the program.
Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026 Time: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Location: <a href="https://www.thelovelifecafe.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Love Life Coffee</a>, Laurel Shopping Center
This family-friendly event is designed for children ages 4 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are $5 per participating child. Parents and guardians do not need a ticket.
Guests can also view several of Angie's paintings displayed throughout Love Life Coffee during the event.

The Chesapeake Baysox invites the community to join them for a night of live music, family activities, and a breathtaking fireworks display.&nbsp;Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and young fans are invited onto the field for&nbsp;nearly two&nbsp;hours of play time, including&nbsp;Kids&nbsp;Run the&nbsp;Bases, catch in the outfield, and an inflatable obstacle course. A face painter and balloon artist&nbsp;also&nbsp;will be on hand to add to the festivities. The&nbsp;evening's&nbsp;concert gets underway at approximately 6:30 p.m., featuring live performances by Blues in a Blender and Honey Sol, with the&nbsp;Star-Spangled&nbsp;Banner performed by Bullpen Brass.&nbsp;All&nbsp;of&nbsp;your favorite ballpark concessions will be available throughout the evening. Then, as night falls, the sky above Prince George's Stadium will come alive with a spectacular fireworks display.
