Victims Identified in Double Fatal Motorcycle Crash (Update)
Two men -- one a Towson firefighter from Bowie -- died at the scene, police said.

Prince George’s County Police have released the names of the two motorcyclists killed early Sunday when they collided in Laurel.
The victims are Fahad Iqbal, 23, of Basswood Court in Laurel and Hubert Earl Harrison Jr., 63, of Quillpoint Drive in Bowie. Harrison is a lieutenant with the Baltimore County Fire Department and was on his way home from work.

About 4:35 a.m. Sunday, patrol officers were called to the 11500 block of Laurel Bowie Road for the report of a collision involving two motorcycles. Investigators say Iqbal was northbound on Laurel Bowie Road on a slight curve, when for an unknown reason, he crossed the center line and struck Harrison head on. Both victims were pronounced dead on the scene.

A double fatal motorcycle crash in the 11500 block of Laurel Bowie Road Sunday morning closed the road in both directions.
Two adult males were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Preliminary investigation revealed the first motorcycle was heading northbound on Route 197 while the second was headed southbound. The driver in the northbound lane crossed into the southbound lane and struck the second motorist head on, police said.
It is not known why the motorist crossed lanes.
