Drugs Found On Shooting Victim: Howard County Police
Police say they do not think the shooting of a man in a parking lot in Howard County Monday night was random.

NORTH LAUREL, MD — Police have identified the victim in a shooting Monday night in Howard County. Officials said the victim, who was shot in the leg, was found with a large quantity of drugs and cash.
Alexanders Sanders, 23, of Bowie, was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where police said Tuesday he was in stable condition.
Police found Sanders in the 9800 block of Whiskey Run when officers were dispatched to a report of someone shot at 9:07 p.m. on Monday.

A large quantity of drugs and cash were found at the scene, according to officials, who previously reported the shooting occurred in a parking lot.
Investigators believe Sanders was targeted, stating Tuesday that they do not think the shooting was random.
