Teachers, home schoolers, scout leaders, parents and other group leaders—anyone who educates young people can learn about educational opportunities in Laurel. This is a chance to meet representatives from community resources such as local museums, including The Laurel Museum and Montpelier Mansion; theaters; libraries; and other non-profits and to learn how they serve educational groups. Event includes door and raffle prizes, gift bags, refreshments and adult beverages and tours of the Laurel Museum. Current exhibits: “True Life: I Am a Laurel Mill Worker” and “Field of Carnage/Personal Sorrows,” with map of Laurel Civil War sites.
