Laurel Lightening Allstars is a new cheerleading team created for the community. They are searching for young ladies and boys, ages 6-18.
The purpose of the Laurel Lightening Allstars is to promote tradition, spirit, self-esteem, teamwork, and healthy relationships with each other.
For participants, cheerleading exists to provide:
Leadership
Character
A Sense of Family
Moral development
Respect, courtesy, tolerance, and self-control
Good sporting behavior and citizenship
Communication skills
Responsibility and patience
Self confidence and personal expression
Implementing these opportunities will help the children grow and mature, both physically and emotionally. He/she must be aware in or out of uniform they represent Laurel Lightening Allstars and the responsibility goes beyond them selves.
Tryouts Are Aug 8-12.
