Oldies Concert with the Retro-Rockets at 34th Annual Montpelier Summer Concert Series

The Retro-Rockets, a 6-piece oldies band specializing in music of the 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond, will perform as part of the 34^th Annual Montpelier Summer Concert Series at Montpelier Mansion Grounds, 9652 Muirkirk Road at Rt 197, Laurel, MD on June 29, 2012 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.  Dance or listen to the music of Chuck Berry, Etta James, Roy Orbison, Elvis, the Drifters, Jimmy Buffet, and many other musicians as the Retro-Rockets plays its unique blend of driving rock and roll songs, smooth ballads, R&B music, classic instrumentals, and even country, big band, standards, disco, and blues numbers. Admission is FREE. Bring the family and friends out with blankets, lawn chairs, and a picnic dinner and relax to the sounds of this oldies/variety/dance band.  In case of heavy rain, the performance would be cancelled, so call 301-953-7882 after 5:00 pm for updates.
