Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Laurel Being Investigated: Police

LAUREL, MD — Laurel Police continue to investigate Wednesday's fatal collision involving a pedestrian and a pickup truck.

The collision occurred at about 7:16 a.m. in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard on Southbound Route One, near Marshall Avenue.

An unidentified pedestrian crossed the roadway and was hit by a pickup truck, police said. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured, police told Patch.
