Laurel Liquor Store Fails Alcohol Compliance Test: Police
Three other stores passed the test in Laurel, according to Howard County police.

Police say they cited one liquor store in Laurel recently for selling alcohol to a minor and congratulated several others for complying with the law.
All Saints Liquors in Laurel was one of a dozen liquor stores around the county where a teen went undercover and tried to buy alcohol, according to the Howard County Police Department.
The volunteer, who is a member of HC DrugFree, had an ID that clearly showed he was not 21 years old, according to police.

All Saints Liquors and Angels Cut Wine & Spirits in Ellicott City were the only two of the 12 shops tested that failed the test, police said.
In Laurel, three stores passed: Bottom of the Bay, Cherry’s Liquors and Montpelier Liquors. They will receive letters of appreciation from Chief Gary Gardner, according to police.

Others that passed the test include the following, police said: Kings Contrivance Liquor and Smoke Shop and Dobbin Square Liquors in Columbia; The Perfect Pour, Lark Brown Liquors and Twisted Cork in Elkridge; I.M. Wine in Fulton; and Friendship Liquors in West Friendship.
Besides All Saints Liquors in Laurel, the other store that failed the test was Angels Cut Wine & Spirits in Ellicott City, according to police. Police said those two were cited and must appear before the Howard County Alcohol Beverage Hearing Board regarding the violations.
