Man Killed by Train in Laurel: Police
Train service is suspended for an indefinite amount of time for investigation into fatal crash, Howard County police say.

LAUREL, MD – Train service is suspended on the Camden line in Laurel following an apparent suicide on the tracks.
A conductor called 911 at approximately 8:35 a.m. to report that a man jumped in front of the train and was hit, police said.
There were about 50 people on the train at the time, according to officials.

Investigators who responded to the scene of the crash, in the 9000 block of Maier Road, said preliminarily it appears that the death was a suicide, according to the Howard County Police Department.
Police said the victim has not yet been identified.
