Here are the top three stories today in Laurel:
- Mobile vaccination clinics will travel to 37 elementary schools over the next month and half to administer after-school COVID-19 vaccines to children age 5 to 11. The list of mobile clinics at elementary schools published Friday are an extension of the clinics previously announced for 15 county high schools. The traveling vaccine clinics will begin today. The first stops will be at Judge Sylvania W. Woods Elementary School, Laurel High School, Gwynn Park High School, and Charles Herbert Flowers High School. (WTOP)
- Michael Caruso's Wondrwherecraigis is back home at Laurel Park after giving trainer Brittany Russell her first career graded-stakes victory. His front-running triumph in the seven-furlong Bold Ruler (G3) at Belmont Park came the day before Russell's planned C-section to deliver her second child with husband Sheldon Russell who is one of Maryland's leading jockeys. - BlackRock & ArtStream Autumn Inclusive Theatre Troupe — Black Rock and Artstream present Autumn Inclusive Theatre Troupe!
