1. Prince George's County's new police Chief Malik Aziz was welcomed Monday night with a walk through a local neighborhood. Chief Aziz walked side by side with the community through the Clinton neighborhood outside of the District Five police station. (WTOP)
2. Facing rising gun violence and intense scrutiny, it's not an easy time to be a police officer. To provide additional support, the police department in Prince George's County is hoping to more than triple its number of five volunteer police chaplains to serve its nearly 1,500 officers. (WTOP)
