Proof why the political class is not trusted, Governor Rick Scott lines his pockets on a law he passed.

It amazes me as to how much the people are doped into pushing policies as a cause not knowing that the cause itself is just a means to an end. Thus the far right tea party has once again helped corporate welfare.

The question is what was his share worth before his drug testing law became law and after the law was on the books. Below is the jest of the story.

Whether or not you agree with the policy the bottom line is this! Here is another elected official has lined his pockets once again. The correct thing Mr. Scott could have done; was inform the public that he had a conflict of interest and inform the citizens of Florida that the next administration would have to decide this particular issue. But instead like most in politics he decided to gain the system not for a just cause, but for the tax payers dime lining his bank account.

This is another reason why the public no longer trust those who hold office in both parties.  The tea party is no better and we need to stop corporate welfare. We need to amend the constitution that forbid industry from giving money to elected office and forbids any elected official from voting or approving any bill that promotes a business he or she owns. We should have a $3000.00 contribution limit to candidates and they should not be able to except funding from outside their district or state that they represent. The exception is only for someone running for President.
