Rosie the Riveter Day Celebration
Rosie the Riveter Day is celebrated to honor the Rosies who worked in airplane factories, shipyards, USOs and other venues during WW II.
The Laurel Chapter of the American Rosie the Riveter Association will celebrate Rosie the Riveter Day, at lunch Sat. May 28, 11 a.m., Mission BBQ, Towne Centre at Laurel, 14712 Baltimore Ave., Laurel. Meet Rosies who worked on the home front during WWII. Veterans are invited to join us.
