When you hear of the Laurel Lions Club, what do you think about? Some secret clandestine group meeting in dark basements performing unknown rituals perhaps? In the short time (compared to most) I've been a Club member I've just about heard it all. My name is Scott Brannan and I am the secretary for the Laurel Lions Club. I first joined at the invitation of my father, who has been a member for many years. I admit I had some of those images in my head before attending a first meeting. What I found was a group of extraordinary folks from every walk of life who wanted to give back to their community and enjoy some comradery and fun at the same time. We are one Club among many, dedicated to assisting in and improving our town.
Our Club has & does lend assistance in many ways to improve the lives of the citizens of Laurel. We support the LVFD, Laurel Police, LFRS, Fido's for Freedom, and many more. Come meet some wonderful folks, the 2nd and 4th tuesday of the month at 7:00pm at LVFD meeting room. beverages and dinner served by LVFD Ladies Auxiliary. Pease RSVP to Brannans5412@verizon.net
