LAUREL, MD — The Clean Water Partnership has been busy working on dredging the Upper Laurel Lake Pond off Oxford Drive. Along with repairing bank erosion along the pond's edge, crews will be removing sediment from the pond.

The pond will be dewatered during the maintenance work and fish will be safely relocated.

There are signs posted near the Oxford Drive path with more information, according to city officials. Weather permitting, construction work on the pond should be finished by July.
