Verizon Wireless Hosting First-Ever Online Career Fair July 23

That may sound far-fetched, but it’s a reality in today’s always-connected world. Verizon’s first-ever nationwide virtual career fair on July 23 will allow interested candidates to use technology to connect online and via chat directly with company recruiters – without leaving the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Verizon is looking to fill more than 1,000 positions across the country in wireless sales, customer service and tech support during the second half of 2015, including many positions here in Maryland.

The Verizon Wireless Virtual Career Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2:30p.m. on Thursday, July 23. Candidates from anywhere in the U.S. may take part, including students and graduates from more than 100 colleges specifically targeted by Verizon, including Baltimore Community College, Anne Arundel Community College, and Montgomery Community College.
