Walk Laurel Day Set For Oct. 4

The second annual Walk Laurel Day will be held Oct. 4 at Laurel Lakes.

LAUREL, MD - From the City of Laurel: Mayor Craig A. Moe is encouraging you to lace up, Velcro or slip into your walking shoes and join him on October 4th from Noon – 1pm at Laurel Lakes for Walk Laurel Day!

This fun, community event is part of Walk Maryland Day, a celebration of our official state exercise, which, in case you didn’t know, is walking! The goal is to promote awareness about regular walking for physical activity and improved health.

Mayor Moe recognizes the benefits of walking and he invites you to join him and City staff for a walk around the Lake on October 4th!
