Bethesda Man Dies; Hit by SUV Crossing Rockville Pike
A Bethesda man died over the weekend from injuries suffered after he was struck by an SUV in North Bethesda driven by an Adelphi man.

A 24-year-old Bethesda man has died at Suburban Hospital from injuries suffered after he was struck Aug. 6 by a vehicle while crossing Rockville Pike in North Bethesda.
Montgomery County Police say the accident happened at the intersection of Rockville Pike and Executive Boulevard when the pedestrian was crossing the southbound lanes of Rockville Pike. He was struck by a Toyota Venza that was traveling southbound on Rockville Pike.
On Monday police said Matthew Aaron Papirmeister, 24, died from his injuries over the weekend. Family members were present at that time. Papirmeister lived in the 8600 block of Melwood Road in Bethesda.

The driver of the Toyota -- Madani Diallo, 57, of the 1800 block of Metzerott Road in Adelphi -- remained on the scene.
