Burglary, Assault With Car, Robbery at Gunpoint

The following is from the most recent crime summary for the Montgomery County Police Department's Sixth District, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg.

• An armed robbery occurred in the 10000 block of Battleridge Place in Stedwick at around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27. The victim was approached by three suspects who placed a handgun to his back and then to the back of his neck. They demanded the victim’s wallet, got it and fled on foot into the forest toward Royal Woods Court. The suspects are described as black males, age 18 or 19, and wearing grey hoodies and black pants.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 18000 block of Singing Pine Circle in South Village shortly after 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 28. While the victim was inside, unknown persons entered the house and removed property.

• An aggravated assault occurred shortly after 4 a.m. on Saturday, April 30 in the 18700 block of Blue Violet Lane in Flower Hill. The victim was with friends when a verbal dispute broke out with people in another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle struck the victim with her car. The investigation is ongoing.
