Driver: County Cop 'Hero' for Helping Blind Pedestrian
A blind man was crossing a busy Montgomery County intersection Tuesday morning when an officer stopped to block traffic and help him.

When a blind man was crossing a busy Montgomery County intersection as traffic flew past him, a driver worried that he would be injured, until a police officer blocked traffic to ensure the pedestrian crossed safely.
The worried driver, who praised the officer’s action, snapped a photo of the assistance in action.
The police department shared the shoutout on its Twitter feed, which shows the Montgomery County officer can be seen helping the blind man at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Connecticut Avenue in Aspen Hill.
