Sherman's abstract paintings include a 4 by 8 ft installation of 32 squares that will be rearranged during the show. The piece recycles paintings the way quilts reuse fabric. “Train Wrecks”: Julie Maynard’s mixed media pieces zoom in on the aftermath of accidents. Her collage work is a form of painting with paper, incorporating found objects.
