
Wolverine pride will be in all its full-throated fury this afternoon as fans, friends and family send off Watkins Mill boys' soccer to the school's first shot at a state title.
The pep rally/tailgate extravaganza starts at 3 p.m. in Wolverine Stadium. The team leaves at around 4 p.m., followed by the fleet of student buses at 4:30 p.m.
The Maryland 3A championship pits Watkins Mill (14-2) against the Vikings of Mount Hebron High School (10-3-3) at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.
