Montgomery County will offer flu vaccine clinics -- both shots and the mist -- starting Oct. 20.

As the flu season ramps up, Montgomery County will offer flu vaccine clinics – both shots and the flu mist – starting this week.
Everyone 6 months of age and older should be vaccinated, county health officials said.
The flu vaccinations are available by appointment at clinics and high schools in Montgomery County; schedule appointments on the county’s website or call 311.

The first clinic is Monday, Oct. 20, and is free. The other clinics will charge for the vaccine. See the list below for locations, dates and times.

For anyone 6 months of age and older
Universities at Shady Grove
On October 20, 4pm – 8pm
At Rockville Campus location, 9630 Gudelsky Drive in Rockville
2014 Flu Mist Clinics
For children ages 3 to 18
On October 31, 9am – noon
At Kennedy High School, Richard Montgomery High School, and Seneca Valley High School
At County Health Centers
For anyone 6 months of age and older
On November 3 and November 17, 1pm – 4pm, at Silver Spring Health Center
On November 6 and November 20, 8:30am – 11:30am, at Germantown Health Center
Bring your insurance card to the clinic. The county will bill your health insurance company for the cost of the vaccine (you will not have a co-pay at the clinic). For individuals without health insurance, there will be a $20 fee; payable by cash or check.
