First MV Master Plan Meeting Tonight, 7pm, at Watkins Mill HS
What sort of future do you want for the village? Come to the WM High School meeting tonight at 7pm and be heard!
The first ”Master Plan” community hearing will be held tonight at 7pm. This meeting is the first of several meetings to help plan the future of Montgomery Village. Do you want to see new housing added onto the golf course fairways and some new big-box retailers in the village center? Or do you want to see a mixed-use redevelopment of the shopping center, with a mix of offices and businesses, residential units, and shopping? Do you want hundreds of stand-alone housing units and 2+ cars per unit added to our streets? Do you want to see any development clustered in a few areas, with additional bus routes added, and traffic flow channeled over to I-270 and the new Watkins Mill road interchange?
Come to the first community meeting tonight and be heard - Help to keep the Village Green.
