UPDATE: Germantown Man Charged with Murder

UPDATE 5:09pm May 4 Police have identified James E. Biddinger, 27, as the suspect arrested in connection with last night's stabbing death in Germantown.
Biddinger has been charged with first-degree murder, police said.
ORIGINAL STORY: A 22-year-old man was found stabbed inside a townhouse in the 13000 block of Country Ridge Drive, Montgomery County Police reported Wednesday morning.

Fifth District officers found Kevin Alfred Mbayo about 11 p.m. Tuesday stabbed in the torso. He was taken to Suburban Hospital, where he died, police said.
Police have arrested a 27-year-old Germantown man who is an acquaintance of the victim, a news release said. He will be identified after he is charged, police said.

The release said the man fled the townhouse to a nearby shopping center before police arrived. There, he contacted police, who found him and arrested him without incident, police said.
