Man Fatally Shoots Son-In-Law In Montgomery Village: Police

A man is accused of shooting and killing his son-in-law Thursday evening in Montgomery Village.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, MD — A man is in custody after he fatally shot his son-in-law at their Montgomery Village home, authorities said.

Shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday, Montgomery County police responded to a home in the 10200 block of Wild Apple Circle for the report of a shooting. Officers said they found Christopher Repp, 43, and Michael Ewell, 57, both suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in an upstairs bedroom.

Repp, the son-in-law, died at the scene, police said. Ewell was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police later charged him with first-degree murder.
