Massage Therapist Charged With Sex Assault: MCPD

A massage therapist from Montgomery Village was arrested and charged for inappropriately touching a client during a session.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, MD — A massage therapist from Montgomery Village is accused of inappropriately touching a client during a session, according to authorities.

Joshua Weston Johnson, 36, of the 7000 block of Yankee Harbor Dr. was charged with fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault, court records reveal.

On Dec. 10, 2018, the victim filed a police report, claiming that a masseur touched her inappropriately during the massage. Montgomery County Police later identified Johnson as the suspect and served him with a District Court Summons on Feb. 22.

According to authorities, Johnson worked as a private massage therapist at a spa in the Kentland area. They said he may have also worked at other spas in Montgomery County.

Police are concerned that there may be additional victims, and urge anyone with information to call them at 240-773-5770.
