MoCo Man Admits To Killing Wife After Reporting Her Missing: Cops
A Montgomery Village man has confessed to killing his wife, just five days after he reported her missing, according to police.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, MD — A 46-year-old man from Montgomery Village man has confessed to murdering his wife, according to authorities. Jean Jocelin Pierre's allegedly confessed on Thursday, five days after reporting his wife went missing.
Pierre, who is currently behind bars, has been charged with the first-degree murder of Nerlande Foreste, Montgomery County Police said. He is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center in Rockville.
According to police, Pierre first contacted authorities about his missing wife on the evening of Aug. 24. He said that Foreste, 41, had been missing since Aug. 21.

When detectives launched an investigation, police said they found "several inconsistencies" in his account, leading them to believe that Pierre was involved in his wife's disappearance.
On Thursday morning, detectives executed a search warrant on his home and recovered evidence that indicated his account of Foreste's disappearance was inaccurate. That same day, Pierre admitted to killing his wife, according to police.
