Tonight, (Friday, August 27), the Montgomery County Department of Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint and will conduct focused enforcement on impaired driving laws.

Officers from the Maryland State Police and from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will be assisting with this sobriety checkpoint. 

The exact location of the checkpoint will not be disclosed in advance.
