Person Struck, Killed by CSX Train
Person's Identity and age details have not been made public.

A person has been struck and killed by a CSX train in Gaithersburg, said Montgomery County Police.
Police were called to the rail crossing on Chestnut Street at 1:22 this afternoon, where they found a person already deceased, said Angela Cruz, a police spokeswoman.
Cruz could not immediately confirm the person's age, gender and identity. She did not know if the person had intentionally placed themselves on the tracks or if the strike was an accident.

This is Gaithersburg's third major train strike and second fatality in 2011.
An 81-year-old preacher was struck and killed in January, and in February a man drove his car onto the same stretch of tracks in Olde Towne, but pulled his family to safety before a train struck his car.
