Pike & Rose to Hold Free Yoga Event in Bethesda

The first 100 attendees will receive a complimentary yoga mat.

Mark your calendars. Pike & Rose has just announced the second installment of Plank & Rose, a free outdoor yoga event on Saturday, Sept. 6.

The event will overlook the Pike & Rose development, the first major project in the White Flint District. The 24-acre neighborhood at the intersection of Rockville Pike and Montrose Parkway will be pedestrian-oriented and urban-minded.

The neighborhood will encompass 450,000 square feet of retail, 1.1 million square feet of office space, 1,500 residential units and a 300-room boutique hotel.

The first 100 attendees will get a free yoga mat, and all attendees can enter to win a one month and three month gym membership at Sport & Health, the future health club facility in the Pike & Rose community. There will also be a prize wheel and additional swag at the event.

The event is slated for Saturday, Sept. 6 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at 11580 Old Georgetown Road, North Bethesda.
