Police Seek Man Who Left Hospital Against Medical Advice

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who left a hospital against the advice of doctors.

Richard Nathaniel Brown, 39, was being treated at Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville. ON Monday afternoon he left against medical advice and was last seen about 4:20 p.m. boarding a Ride On bus near the hospital.

Brown is described as an African American male, 6’4” tall, and weighing 270 pounds. He was last wearing a white shirt and white sweatpants.

Police and family are concerned for his emotional well-being and physical welfare.

Anyone with information regarding Brown’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1. Callers may remain anonymous.
