Polish Job-Hunting Skills at Beacon 50+ Expo
The Oct. 19 job expo in Silver Spring aims to help those over 50 polish their resumes and interviewing skills.

Montgomery County residents age 50 and older who are searching for a job without success are invited to the Beacon 50+ Expo in Silver Spring on Sunday, Oct. 19.
The expo will help participants polish resumes and interview skills as well as give advice on how to use the internet to find more jobs. Robert Fischell, a physicist, inventor and holder of over 200 medical patents will be the keynote speaker.
The expo will also give participants opportunities to get health screenings and flu and pneumonia vaccines.

The Beacon 50+ Expo will take place at the Silver Spring Civic Center, 1 Veterans Plaza, from noon to 4 p.m.
