Five contenders are in the running for the title of Montgomery Village's best grocer.

Well, after a spirited contest over your favorite swimming pool, last week's Readers' Choice landed with a resounding thud, amassing a grand total of two votes for your favorite St. Paddy's Day Party — one for the Gaithersburg parade and one for Village Cafe. So we're calling it a wash. Let's forget it ever happened.

How's about we rebound this week with a back-and-forth over the best/most popular/most interesting place to find your foodstuffs. Maybe you value the grocer's food and product quality. Maybe they offer the best deals or variety. Maybe the store goes out of its way to stock hard-to-find items. Or maybe there's just a certain cashier who brightens your day every time you shop... Whatever the reason, it's your call.
