Relentless Pursuit of Playground @ Lake Whetstone

I refuse to give up on MVF and even the County.  After years of pursuing and silent rejection/opposition by the Powers That Be to construct a playground @ Lake Whetstone, I am continuing to give entities the benefit of the doubt that they are not that heartless in providing such!  Ample ground available @ the Lake!  And two individuals (both County and State) who have been willing to procure gran(s)t to assist such construction.  So, apparently, the objections from MVF (who claims 'Flourishing in the Village' and 'Family Oriented Community) have absolutely nothing to do with funds but rather objection that play equipment will somehow disturb the aesthetics, disturb the darn, almost religiously- worshipped geese and disturb folks by the 'normal, playful sound of children'. 

For those @ MVF or even those in the County whose days are based on need for accolades, why not (though sad reason for consider the needs of all children) run with this one.  I know of no other type of playground in Montgomery County that is accessible to the physically-challenged who not only benefit from fresh air and exercise but benefit from 'atmosphere of socializing' and feeling a part of not just the community in which they reside but a part of the 'fascinating and educational world around them'!!!!
