Report: Montgomery County Parents Want Schools Snack Limits to Go Further Than USDA Rules
A parents group in Montgomery County want to get rid of things like caloric drinks in cafeterias.

New USDA rules to reduce fat, salt and sugar in cafeteria foods for American school kids aren't restrictive enough for some Montgomery County parents,Β The Washington PostΒ reports.
βItβs a good direction for them [the USDA],β Karen Devitt,Β co-founder of Real Food for Kids β Montgomery,Β toldΒ The Post. βWe are just hoping we can do something more stringent at the local level in time.β
