4-Alarm Fire Reported Near Woodberry: Officials
Emergency management officials advised people to avoid Woodberry and Clipper Mill Thursday night due to fire activity.
BALTIMORE, MD — A four-alarm fire in the Woodberry area shut down the light rail and part of Interstate 83 Thursday night as firefighters battled a blazing warehouse.
The fire broke out before 9:30 p.m. near the 3600 block of Clipper Road, Baltimore Fire officials reported.
Smoke was still showing from the third floor of the vacant three-story warehouse at 11:15 p.m., officials said.

I-83 was shut down to southbound traffic at Northern Parkway, the 41st Street bridge was closed and the light rail was not operating in the area, emergency officials said.
After 7:30 a.m. on Friday, the Baltimore Office of Emergency Management was reporting that I-83 and the bridge had reopened, while the light rail was operating with minor delays.

Authorities advised people Thursday evening to avoid the Woodberry and Clipper Mill neighborhoods.
