Alex Cooper to Host Unreserved Auction for Rare Jewelry Collection from the Estate of Noted American Author Barbara Mertz
Mertz' vast collection of more than 150 pieces of unique antique and ancient jewelry will be auctioned off on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 12 p.m.
Alex Cooper Auctioneers, Inc., one of the largest auction houses in the mid-Atlantic, is excited to present the rare and exquisite collection of antique and ancient jewelry from the estate of award- winning author and Egyptologist, Barbara Mertz on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at 12 p.m. Buyers are invited to attend the auction at Alex Cooper’s gallery or online. This exceptional collection will feature pieces ranging from the 3rd century BC to the early 1900s.

· Rare antique natural alexandrite and diamond ring with cushion-shapednatural alexandrite, about 5.0 carats set in 9K gold surrounded by 20 old European cut diamonds
