The League for People with Disabilities, the region’s leading non-profit for people with disabilities, has named three local residents to its Board of Directors: Natalie Sherman, partner, Gallagher Evelius & Jones, LLP; John Meyer, principal, KLNB Retail; and Judy Zerwitz, League Committee member and volunteer.
In addition, League Board members Renee Gordon, J.D., and Michael Hettleman, Chairman of the Board, Southern Galvanizing, will serve as Co-Chairs of “Here for Good,” the campaign to benefit The League’s Camp
Greentop, the first camp in the nation for adults with disabilities. The camp, located in Maryland’s Catoctin
Mountains, celebrates its 75th Anniversary this year.
According to President and CEO David Greenberg, The
League is delighted to have access to the breadth and depth of experience represented by its board members. “As we celebrate a milestone in our history and lay the foundation for our future, we are truly honored to have the
business acumen and strategic guidance of these dedicated professionals,” he notes.
