Art with a Heart Hosting "Bloom and Create – A Mothers’ Day Experience," May 3
Nonprofit invites guests to honor their moms by making them a custom keepsake vase filled with locally grown flowers
BALTIMORE (April 20, 2026) – For anyone looking for that special gift for mom, Art with a Heart(AWAH) has the solution! The nonprofit will host its first ever Bloom and Create – A Mother’s Day Experience, Sunday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at its social enterprise retail store, HeARTwares (1104 W. 36th St., Baltimore, MD, 21211).
Taking place exactly one week before Mother’s Day, this hands-on workshop provides a relaxed environment where beginners and seasoned DIY enthusiasts can honor their moms through art. Participants will decorate a custom keepsake mosaic vase with found objects and ceramics, and fill it with a bouquet of fresh, locally grown flowers provided by Brookfield Blooms.
Each finished vase is intended to be elegant, enduring and worthy of display. This unique keepsake can be refilled and enjoyed long after Mother’s Day 2026.
