Baltimore City Public Schools Make Snow Announcement for Monday

Schools made a determination about Monday's classes given the impending snowstorm.

It's a long weekend for students in Baltimore City, but not necessarily for staff.

Due to inclement weather, Baltimore City Public Schools will be closed on Monday, the school system reported at 7:40 p.m. on its website.

Offices are expected to open as scheduled; however, the school system advised staff to check the website and its Twitter account for updates in case anything changes.

Baltimore City may get 4 to 9 inches of snow Monday, according to the National Weather Service, which has placed most of the Baltimore-Washington region under a winter storm warning.
