Baltimore County Police: Patrol Officers Arrest Homicide Suspect

A preliminary investigation indicates the suspect and victim had recently entered into a relationship.

18-year-old Shaheem Muse remains at the Baltimore County Detention Center charged with first degree murder. On Tuesday, November 23, officers responded to the Unit block of Stockmill Rd., 21208, for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased female suffering from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred at approximately 5:10 p.m.

A preliminary investigation indicates the suspect and victim had recently entered into a relationship.

Shortly after this homicide occurred, Baltimore County patrol officers took Muse into custody. He is currently being held without bond. A bail review hearing has been scheduled for November 29.

The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Wayniqua Johnson of the Unit block of Stockmill Rd.
