Baltimore Innovation Week

Week long of events and conferences related to technology and innovation in Baltimore

The series of events runs from September 12 – 20, and will be split into six Track Days, curated one-day conferences covering a wide variety of topics such as Women in Tech, the Future of Digital Marketing, #Failfest and more. Some featured events include:

  • Women/InTech is an afternoon of meeting, learning and sharing among various female leaders and members who have interest in becoming active in technology fields. [Monday, Sept. 15 12:30-5pm @ AOL/Ad.com]
  • Diversity Happy Hour will close out Access Day by connecting various groups and individuals that are working to make tech and entrepreneurship more diverse and welcoming in Baltimore and beyond. [Monday, Sept. 15 5-7pm @ AOL/Ad.com]
  • IgniteBaltimore is one of the region’s largest, most popular regularly occurring innovation events and will feature special dates during the week. [Thursday, Sept. 18 6-9pm @ MICA]
  • Closing Party and Innovation Celebration is a cocktail reception meets an interactive local technology expo and demo party. And yes, there will be an open bar. This is a celebration of the broad Baltimore technology community with many of Baltimore Innovation Week’s attendees, sponsors and organizers. [Friday, Sept. 19 6-9pm @ Under Armour]
  • Dev Day is designed for new technologists looking to learn a new skill, or to sharpen their existing. Take workshops in Ruby on Rails, Javascript and Database and SQL [Saturday, Sept. 12 @ Betamore]
  • Super Meetup will connect dozens of active user groups in Baltimore to know each other, know which groups are still active, what groups are doing, and where there is room for collaboration. [Saturday, Sept. 12 @ Betamore]
  • The Future of Digital Marketing Event is an afternoon focused on digital trends that marketers, agencies, content producers, and startups need to know. Local thought leaders will walk attendees through marketing challenges—and how to solve them. [Thursday, Sept. 18 1:30-6pm @ Baltimore Museum of Art]
  • Business Day invites attendees to participate in targeted business bootcamps, learn from local leaders on their biggest mistakes, and hear from investors what they’re looking for. [Tuesday, Sept. 16 @ ETC]
