Do you have an altar? While I don't consider myself to be religious, I do have an altar.
When I was asked to write a blog and thought about what to say here to launch my voice and images in cyberspace, I decided to shoot my altar and to talk about that. Google gave me this as one of the definitions for the word "altar" - "sacred place where ceremonies take place".
My altar consists of some special little things symbolizing much more than their size or cost.

It is located on the bureau I bought from Ikea next to my bed where I also keep an alarm clock and a flashlight. Just looking at my altar makes me smile!
